Our Coffee

According to IHCAFE, the coffee grown in the Agalta Region typically has characteristics of chocolate, caramel, citrus acidity, and a diversity of tropical fruits and sweet aftertastes.

Historically though, coffee from the Agalta Region has not been known for its quality. However, because of Elevar’s efforts to increase the quality of the coffee produced on their farms it can be said that we are now “waking up a sleeping giant.”

Evaluations of Elevar’s most recent harvest detail more exotic flavors: caramel, molasses and honey; red apple and peach; citrus - orange and grapefruit; tropical fruits - passion fruit and starfruit; with floral fragrances and a sweet and prolonged aftertaste.

These tasting notes mean that Elevar is now producing specialty level coffee.
